Specifications and Description
Goods are supplied to the company’s standard specifications. We will endeavour to supply as much product and application data as possible, but Light Efficient Design UK Limited is unable to assess the viability or suitability of every application of the goods. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods ordered are suitable for the application in which they intend to use them. Please note exact colours ad finishes are difficult to reproduce accurately on websites and in printed materials and that customers should not place undue reliance upon such reproductions.
LEDs have slight variances in colour by manufacturing batch. In situations where exact colour matching is vital, customers must specifically request that all items are supplied from the same batch, otherwise colour match cannot be guaranteed. If there is a possibility that an application may require further quantities of the same product, it is highly recommended that extra stock is ordered with the initial order as colour match cannot be guaranteed at a later date. It is also advisable to order standby stock to cover replacements where necessary.
Recycling Cost
The Government has introduced the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Producer Responsibility) Regulations 2006 (“The WEEE Regulations”) which will implement a European directive, the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive, commonly known at the WEEE Directive. Under the WEEE Regulations, producers (or their agents) are required to finance the collection, treatment, recovery and environmentally sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment. Non household luminaires fall within this category of equipment and so, in anticipation of the disposal cost that we will be financing in respect of non-household luminaires with effect from 1st January 2007, we will be charging a recycling cost of £1 in respect of all non household luminaires supplied after 1st July 2007. This recycling cost may vary from time to time. Some lamps also fall within the scope of WEEE. It is anticipated that this charge will be £0.35 per lamp.

No liability will be accepted by Light Efficient Design UK Limited for any failure of delay in performance which is wholly or partially due to an Act of God, War, Fire, Explosion, Riot, Civil Commotion, Restriction by Government or other competent authority. Strikes, Lock Outs, Failure in supplies or to any other cause whatsoever beyond our control.
